The game is very fun while also being very challenging, with lots of different powerups to use and levels that greatly vary from each other, both on design and on challenge level. It's also curious that for a game that looks cute and where you're supposed to save cats and dogs, it can be a quite gory game as enemies will explode into gory bits when they die.The biggest downside to this game is that the boss fights are very lackluster, the final boss in the game in special.But the ending completely makes up to that - it's one of the cutest game endings I've ever seen.. I must admit there is noticable input latency (I play on keyboard) but it's easy to used to it. If you are skilled game may seems bit short, but it depends of your completion rate of course. Help Johnny Dash battle against Count Chuck's Demonic Monsters & the Undead as he rescues Cats, Dogs, his pet dog; Tex and Animals from Count Chuck's Evil plans by using your mighty Slingshot.As for the story, it's simple enough. Johnny Dash is 10-years old whos puppy Tex has gone missing for a few days. Just as when night falls, a Thunderstorm rolls in as Johnny is pulled under is bed by a hairy arm with green eyes who's on his side then warns him that his puppy hasn't just gone missing but was kidnapped by the evil Count Chuck; ruler of the Underworld. Count Chuck is kidnapping helpless household pets and is turning them into monsters. Johnny is enraged by this turn of events. So the green eyed enity arms him to the teeth with a slingshot and a special rock that somehow has infinite ammo then vanishes. Johnny bursts out of his room and into the Underworld, armed and enraged with vengence to stop Count Chuck form taking over our world with his army of monsters, rescue his beloved Tex and all the animals that Count Chuck has captured.. Simply the greatest PC arcade platformer ever made, back when Apogee were gods of PC gaming. Flawless. Their other games are fantastic too, but MB is simply grand.. It's ok and playable, ugly and clunky but not as much as some other old apogee games. So good! Monsters, blood, secrets and badass music!. Game about hooligan who's fighting zombies and making pet shelters go bankrupt.
